Designers Descriptioln: Tähesära is an homage to my time quilting. I learned to sew and quilt before picking up knitting needles. Some of my favorite quilting block patterns are the bold star blocks made of different pieces. The eight point star pattern created using Fluff in the central Roosimine inlay panel is inspired by some of my favorite quilting patterns blended with Estonian woven belt patterns for reversibility. This shawl is the first completely reversible Roosimine Estonian inlay shawl pattern I have created. You’ll have gorgeous stars on both sides of this shawl that is easy to knit thanks to a fabulous fringe steek. The name Tähesära means starlight in Estonian.
